Marta Cruz Fund

Please help me raise money for Marta’s cremation, and fees associated with sending her Ashes and her personal belongings to her mother in Poland . Marta had no family in US and was an only daughter. Marta went to ER Thursday last week as she was really sick , respiratory infection, she was sent home with medication which made her significantly worse over the weekend. She lived alone with the love of her life , her rescued dog Rudy. She had passed away presumably on Sunday and was found dead last night , with her dog cuddled next to her . Her amazing neighbor (and her family) plus a friend have been working all night to find her family members in Poland. We are all heart broken as she was so full of life , love , compassion. I have known Marta since 2008 as she interned at my place of employment and was so excited for official interview for a homeless outreach at the shelter I work for. She was passionate about helping others in need , she was fierce and honest , strong woman. She was taken from this world to soon . Please help us reunite her with her mother , as I can’t imagine the horrible pain her mother is going through unable to give her daughter a resting place and saying last goodbye to her only child. Basia her friend is setting in motion a memorial at the place of cremation ( cost included with cremation) so everyone here can pay their respect to Marta.( will update with more info on it when all will be set) Every cent matters.
