Robert J Howell, MAR 1985-OCT 2019

On October 9th, 2019, we lost a son, friend, a husband, a father, a SOCOM Veteran, a brother-in-arms. A tragic accident claimed the life of Robert J. Howell, only 34 years of age... taken from us much too soon. Robert served honorably in the United States Army (Airborne) through numerous combat deployments in support of SOF/Tier 1 combat efforts. He was highly decorated, and endured combat/national defense operations in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Colombia. All who served with Rob were blessed by his lighthearted sense-of-humor, and willingness to help in times of need. He was a good friend, always there when it mattered, and was quick to share a story about the good times. Rob married Tatiana 10 years ago, telling all in the family “Guys... she’s the one. I KNEW it right away.” They have a 2 year old, Ella, who was Rob’s pride and joy. He’d frequently text friends and family just to let them know how lucky he was to be so blessed. Rob had an amazing heart, and while other people brag about their cars or their sports team, Rob would brag that he made the mean old lady at the Publix deli counter laugh. Rob left behind a beautiful wife and little girl who need our help with medical and legal costs, burial expenses and basic living needs while they get back on their feet and learn to live independently. Anything you can give to help them in their time of need is greatly appreciated... even small donations add up. Rob served his country and made so many people smile.
