The Unthinkable Happened And We Need Help

I don’t share many details of my immediate personal life because I can normally take care of myself and my family but in this instance I actually need to ask for help. I’ve been with my law firm for 3 years as a hearing officer, going to school at JFKU to complete my education and start law school. I was the top player at my firm and never had a bad review or write up and then suddenly that all changed. As some of you may know, my husband is a disabled veteran and the stay at home dad of our children and so I am the sole provider monetarily and health insurance. As of last Friday I was let go from my firm for reasons I don’t really understand. I was told that I am too intense and my work ethic is too much for the support staff to handle and it is easier to let go one person than to replace all 3 of the support staff. I wasn’t provided any notice or any warnings or anything. I went from supporting my entire family to absolutely nothing. We can no longer afford our home or anything here in CA. I’m sure some of you are asking, why don’t I just look for another job? I am, but at my last firm I was being paid as a lead attorney even though I am not licensed yet because I worked my butt off to get there over the last 3 years. Truth is any firm I walk in to as the new person isn’t going to pay me what I need to support our lives here. With my heartbroken and my ego shot, we are picking up and moving to Tennessee where we have a better shot at survival because the cost of living is much more affordable. As it stands we cannot afford to move our belongings, just our kids and our clothes. I feel like a failure and like a horrible mother because I cannot move my children’s beds or belongings. We need help and I hate to ask but here I am. If you can’t help then please say a prayer or send me your well wishes. We leave for Tennessee 10/12 so anything helps. Thank you. Sell family ♥️
