Thieves Stole My Newly-Widowed Sister’s Livelihood

Dreams should never be stolen, but that is exactly what happened to my sister last night. Two years ago my sister, Mindy, took a courageous leap and invested everything she had into The Waffler, a food truck business. It is a small family business run by Mindy, her son and, until a few weeks ago, her husband Jimmy. Sadly, Jimmy died a few weeks ago. Mindy was back on the truck the very next day, broken hearted—not because she wanted to be but because that’s what needed to be done. That’s the kind of work ethic she has. Last night thieves stole her food truck, her sole source of income. It’s hard to imagine worse luck. I’m trying to raise funds for her to buy a new food truck and have some money to live on until she can get on her feet again. We welcome all donations, no matter how small.
