Anderson R Wheeler

Anderson Riley Wheeler was welcomed to this world by his parents Marcus & Abby (Finlayson) Wheeler on August 14,2019; he is precious in every since of the word.  He is sweet, alert and just so cute.  After two days in the hospital, he was transferred to the NICU due to a lack of bowel movements.  It was decided after a few tests that he needed to be transferred to TC Thompson Children's Hospital in Chattanooga for further assessment.  After a grueling weekend waiting to determine the issue, the doctors believe that he has a defect in his colon and are almost certain he has Hirschsprung's Disease.  This disease prevents him from passing waste from his system on his own.  Anderson will be having surgery in the morning at 11:00 am to determine the extent of the issues of his colon.  Abby, as a first time mom,  and Marcus are navigating each day with grace and concern.   All prayers, love and help from you are appreciated.  As they continue down this uncertain road, we ask that you keep up with their journey, offer prayers and any help that you can.  I know that they would be the first in line to help their friends and families; they truly value all the concern and love you have for their new baby boy.  As time goes on-- his condition will require multiple doctor's appointments, specialty items and many more incidentals that were not anticipated by Abby & Marcus. Any donation of time or money will aid them with covering his medical bills, equipment, time off work and fuel back and forth....etc. Anything will be of help-- A donation, a dinner when they are able to go home, a friend when things get overwhelming..... This request does not come from Abby and Marcus--- and they are unaware of this campaign at this time...... but from someone who knows and loves them---we want them to focus on Anderson and let the bills be a little less worrisome.
