Diego’s Cancer Journey

Our father began his Cancer Journey on June 25th, 2018. He was diagnosed with Stage 3 Lung Cancer and has been a trooper throughout his ups and downs. If you know our dad, he is a fighter and has not given up. Diego spent the past 31 years of his life dedicated to the Culinary world as the Executive Chef at Michael’s Valley Grill and due to this illness, he has not been able to return to the kitchen. He has been an amazing father for the past 33 years and an even more amazing husband and partner in crime to our mom for the past 42 years. As you can imagine, doctors visits and medications can add up. With our bread winner being out of commission, things have been a little rough around the house. Our mother is his main caretaker as well as working her 40 hour job as a Nurse and does her best to keep up with expenses. Danielle and I do our very hardest to help out and provide as much as possible to help alleviate the debt but things continue to pile up. This is where you come in. My sister and I are asking for any contributions that you can make to help alleviate medication bills, doctors co-pays, grocery, and other living expenses. We understand that everyone has their own journey so we are not asking for tons of help but any little bit of contribution you can offer our family, specifically our dad, Diego, would be greatly and deeply appreciated. Our parents do not know we are putting this together as they are too prideful for their own good. This will be a great surprise for them. Please reach out if you have any questions.
