On behalf of our family, we want to thank you for visiting our website for Diana Zannella. On June 2nd, after two months of agony, Diana was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. During her diagnosis, Diana was hesitant to seek medical attention as her husband, Tony, was hospitalized with complications from his extensive open heart surgery.
Since her diagnosis, she has been admitted to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Cayuga Medical Center where she underwent over three weeks of inpatient care and treatment. She has just completed her third of six rounds of R-Chop Chemotherapy and is now at home.
The out pour of love and support has been extremely warming during this very difficult time for our family. We have created this site for a few reasons. First, we want to help keep friends and family up to speed with my mom's health. Secondly, we have also created this site in response to loved ones trying to reach out and help.
In the past eight months both Diana and Tony have been removed from work for significant periods of time due to their health conditions. Tony is back working two jobs while also trying to be the main caregiver for our mom. Although he has not fully recovered from his own health issues, he has put them on hold to help provide for our mom.
At this point in time, we are welcoming family and friends to please help support Diana and Tony in their fight against cancer. The most beneficial ways to help support them are by scheduling home visits, helping provide meals and by donations of any amount. All donations will go directly towards medical bills and health related costs.
Please note that we fully understand that not everyone is able to give at this time. We want to thank those who have already provided support and also to those who are considering supporting. We would not be able to make it throughout this journey without the ongoing support of family and friends.
