Tamati Browns Fight

Donation protected
The Brown family and their precious baby boy Tamati have endured what no family should ever have to endureTamati is now fighting hard for his life. At the very young age of 5 months old, Tamati the youngest of 5 children was diagnosed with a cancer brain tumour. Mum and Dad Ricky and Temica called “Ryan’s Rule” and thank goodness they did, as this rule over rides doctors, and the family can have every test undertaken for Tamati until there is an outcome. If Ricky and Temica hadn’t called “Ryan’s Rule” Tamati would of passed away within 8 hours...On the 16th of December Tamati was rushed into hospital for emergency surgery to release fluid on his brain, they successfully drained 500ml.On the 18th December Tamati had major brain surgery to remove and de-bulk his tumour.....unfortunately they could only remove 90 percent of the tumour and when he woke from his operation his right side was paralysed. 2 days following, Tamati also suffered a severe stroke. He spent 3 weeks in ICU with his Mum and Dad by his side all the way. The Brown family spent Christmas 2018 at the hospital supporting their baby boy who had endured way too much for a 5 month old. Only 2 months ago Ricky and Temica were informed that Tamati’s tumour has started to grow back and he now is undergoing chemo therapy for the next 12 months to try and prevent the tumour growing. There is no cure for Tamati as the tumour is wrapped around his pituitary gland.....Surgery is not an option as this will result in total loss of movement for him and this was another hard decision Ricky and Temica had to make. Tamati is undergoing intensive physiotherapy and speech therapy to enable more movement in his body and be able to eat and drink. Tamati is currently being tube fed as chemo is making him verysick. Tamati has a long road ahead of him but from what this precious boy has endured so far one thing is certain he’s one hell of a fighter! As friends of Ricky and Temica we have set up this go fund me page to help this beautiful family get back to some normality. They have had so many challenges and setbacks, its time for us to band together and give the Brown family and Tamati all the support we can to lessen the burden they have all been carrying for some time now. If we can stop the cancer from growing Tamiti can have some quality of life with his beautiful brothers and sisters Mum and Dad.Thank you so much for your donation.
