Funeral Expenses For Roger Brown

I am Robert Brown (Roger Brown's son) raising money for my father's funeral expenses, as well as living expenses for my younger sister until we are able to figure out her living situation as we lost both parents in the last year. Roger Brown was an amazing father, teacher, friend, and coworker beloved by all he interacted, and spoke with. He passed away on Friday July 19, 2019 unexpectedly due to a heart attack on his way home. My dad is, and was a great parent to not only me, but the entire community of Pomona where he taught high school students at Ganesha High School for the last 15+ years. When my dad saw a student that wasn't on the right path, or needed extra help in school he would do everything he could to help them graduate, and figure out a life plan on what they wanted to do so nobody left Ganesha High School unprepared for life. He helped run the Solar Boat competition which taught underprivileged students STEM skills, and how they can pursue a future in the STEM career field. Whenever Ganesha had a home football game he would try his best to be at every game cheering for the students, and afterwards having a barbecue for everyone. He recently explained to me how happy this made all his students especially the ones that never had a barbecue done specifically for them, or having someone recognize their achievements on, and off the field in the classroom.
