My Father And I Are Facing Eviction

As many of you know, I’ve been caring for my father since my mom passed in 2015. I like to think I’ve done a pretty good job. But I lost my job a few months ago. In that time I struggled to keep up. I got a new job that I literally start tonight. But it’s too little too late. I’ve paid my rent late for the past 3 months in a row. And the late fees kept adding up. The first page of the notice said all I needed to pay was the base rent. I have now received a second page that includes the total amount due to avoid eviction. There’s just no way possible for me to come up with the money within such a short time limit. If it was just me, I could rent a room or stay in a hotel. But I can’t let this happen to my dad. So as embarrassing and shameful as this is, I have to ask for help to cover the remaining balance. I’m not asking for any one person to foot the bill. But if you can help with whatever small amount you can afford I will be eternally grateful. And I will pay you back as soon as I am able.
