Nepal Sewing Training

Welcome to the Nepal Sewing Training Fundraiser!! Thank you so much for your interest in being a part of this exciting opportunity! Here’s the backstory to how it all began:Since our (Kristin and Kat) time in Nepal last December, we have had the privilege of discussing starting a sewing training center for women with one of the men we met who works for an NGO there. After many emails, lots of research, and much prayer, he is hoping to take his first group of six women through a four month sewing training program!! His (and our) hope is to help empower these women to help provide for their families, to have an opportunity to have a dignified job, and to bring opportunities for families to stay together, children to go to school, and to flourish. We not only want to provide an opportunity to flourish physically but also spiritually. We are BEYOND excited for how God has answered prayer in this and are excited to get a front seat to watch all He will do through this training in the lives of poor and impoverished families in Nepal. We would love for you to help us raise the funds necessary to get this training started. The funds will go towards buying sewing machines, materials needed, and hiring a trainer for the women.
