NAWS Last Chance for Medical Care Fund

NAWS has taken in several homeless pets with medical and surgery needs, and our medical fund has been depleted. Here is the latest, our sweet kitty, Vixen, who has had to be hospitalized for a week with a feeding tube due to a liver issue. We can’t let these sweet kids sit in pain, but we also cannot afford any more hospitalizations or special surgeries. Shiloh the hound was taken out to play today and the staff noticed her huge distended belly, it was bloat and she was rushed to the ER for surgery. Victoria was rescued from a pit bull fighting ring and needed ACL surgery. Two other dogs in our shelter need ACL surgery. We have several kittens that were brought to us in horrific condition and need eyes removed. We have kittens needing limb and tail amputations. The list is endless. We are doing our best to prioritize them based upon pain level and long term prognosis. Please help them.
