Three years ago I asked Jimmy to make a fan for me with some leather he had leftover from other projects. So he made a lovely and thick leather fan shaped like a leaf. Everyone who saw it was 'blown away' by how well it worked as well as the artistry of the work. Everyone encouraged us to start making them and selling them and so we did. One of One designs was born and did well for three years.
Flash forward to today. This summer was hard. We had several events scheduled that for one reason or another cancelled on us. Our last faire didn't net us enough to cover bills -and- next year's event fees. It didn't help that nearly every saturday of the event got rained out and thus effected our bottom line in a very bad way.
We're at the end of our rope now, savings are gone, we have literally 13 dollars to our names combined and we're out of ideas. We DO have some shows coming up in September but most of them will be our first time out so we don't know what to expect or if we'll even manage to break even on the cost of being a vendor.
So, I'm here asking for your support. Every dollar counts and every donation will receive a handcrafted thank you gift from our line of products.
