Coleen, Brian & Gavi Garcia Family Fund

Many of you are still reeling from the news of our beloved Coleen suddenly passing on to Heaven last weekend. We all are processing this pain in various ways. Here’s an opportunity to tangibly support this family. Both Brian and Coleen have suffered great loss in their health and finances. As you can imagine the additional financial costs associated with losing someone can be high. Let’s rise up and financially support Brian and Gavi in their time of need. The Garcia health journey ... Brian and Coleen moved down to Southern California in 2014 after going into debt trying to keep Grilla Bites going. In 2014 Coleen was diagnosed with uterine cancer and had Chemo and radiation treatments followed by two major surgeries. Brian had a major skin cancer surgery in July 2015 followed by 10 additional surgical procedures in the following years. Coleen Then was diagnosed with Breast cancer. She under went 3 major surgeries and chemo and radiation treatments. She was on the mend when she died suddenly and unexpectedly. Brian has a great job and good insurance but even with that they have been out of pocket tens of thousands of dollars per year to cover the gap between insurance and actual medical cost. And Coleen has been unable to work since the move to LA. The funeral expenses are not covered by insurance so Brian will have to cover them. The Garcia’s have a huge community. They have sowed, prayed and sacrificed for so many of us. Now it’s time for us to step up and be there for them. Would you please honor them by financially giving in their time of need.
