Robert’s Fight

As many of you may know, my father, Robert, was involved in a serious hit and run accident. As far as the initial days after the accident, we found how lucky my father was in regard to the severity and extent of his issues. With the number and type of breaks, it’s a miracle he did not need a ventilator at any point. Going forward, we are facing the initial hospital bills as well as the rehabilitation ones. He’ll need to spend at least another five weeks just in basic care, and currently is not allowed to sit up past a 60° angle. He’s also in a cervical brace for just as long. Once he’s allowed to have more mobility, there will also be the cost of rehabbing his body. On top of this, we’ve also had a significant loss of income due to my father not being able to work, as well as the time my stepmom has taken off in the last several weeks. Any little bit is appreciated. All the support our friends and family have offered in this grueling ordeal has been incredible, we’re all beyond thankful to have such a wonderful circle of folks.
