4 Wolfdogs In Need Of Help!!!

Hello, our names are Jonathan and Ashley, and We have just rescued 2 wolfdogs, Jed and Kefyra. The other two wolfdogs who went to an amazing couple, Jacob and Lori are Ari and Alomere. Jed and Kefyra are now our 5th and 6th wolfdog rescues that we’ve taken into our pack. If you'd like to see our pack, we're on Instagram @Blue_Mountain_Wolves .
These four wolfdogs were in the worst conditions we have ever witnessed. They are all literally skin and bones. Kefyra weighs only 55lbs and Jed weighs only 65lbs. We don’t know the weight of Ari and Alomere yet but they are in the same condition as Jed and Fy. They all should both be at the very least 40-50lbs heavier than what they are. Kefyra also had a huge gash on her neck that was still open and over a month old. Their ‘water’ was green and filled with sludge, which tells us it hadn’t been changed in months.

We picked up Jed and Kefyra and drove them straight to our vet who said that they both literally could’ve died at anytime because of how starved they were. We were able to have them both fixed and Kefyra now has over 20 staples in her neck. Due to the injury being on her neck she wasn’t able to clean it on her own, but thankfully it wasn’t infected! Because of the severity of the wound she needs 2 weeks to heal before she can have the staples removed and be outside again. They are both so weak from lack of food that it’s going to take a while before they regain their strength.
There were other wolfdogs there as well that are in the same shape as these 4, but with the help of others we have been able to find homes for them.

We don’t like asking for help, but we have no choice. Our current vet bill is $2,325 and the enclosure which is 8’ fencing with 3’ dig guards as well as 2 gates with a holding pen has cost over $1,500. Jacob and Lori had to also build an enclosure immediately for Ari and Alomere which was over $1,000. Our gas bill alone to pick them up and bring them home is over $600. Also, because of how underweight they were, we are going to be needing to give them lots of high quality food to get them healthy again. We’ll be going through at least 200 pounds of meat a month for the two of them and the same for the other 2 pups.
Currently we have spent over $4,500 with food included just for Jed and Kefyra. Jacob and Lori friends spent over $2,000 as well. All funds raised will 100% go directly to caring for these 4 pups!!!!! We don’t like having to ask for help and take very seriously and appreciate how hard everyone works for their money. If you can spare anything at all to go towards these beautiful animals we are forever grateful!
