My house and car need help!

Well, recently lots of things have happened.

I was in a car accident - luckily no one was hurt - and spent two weeks checking out CraigsList, where I finally found a car I like for the $2000 I borrowed from a friend. I had more money, but while I was looking at cars my front yard flooded. I needed to have the water main fixed, and luckily it only cost me $250. So I still had a few hundred dollars to pay for engine work the car needs. Then my washing machine died, flooding the laundry. I found a wonderful Maytag high efficiency washer in a local thrift store for $131, plus more for delivery. My $4 hundred quickly became $1 or $2 hundred. I play with the Sierra Vista Symphony Orchestra, and in mid-January will earn just under $500; but an estimate puts the car repairs between $1000 and $2000.

Before all this happened, the pipes in my hall bath burst, and my particle board vanity collapsed from the water it absorbed. One wall is moldy and needs to be removed and replaced, and the toilet tank is cracked as well. Neither toilet works well, and I would like to replace both, and put matching vanities in both bathrooms as well. I'm not looking for expensive stuff, just better than I have now (read: not particle board). Most of the carpet in the hall was removed, and some of the hall baseboard and drywall also need replacing. I will probably need a contractor to coordinate most of this.

I really have no other way to get the money to do all this, and a friend suggested several crowdfunding sites as possibilities, so I am trying it. Friends had just helped me get a lot of work done in the house, like patching walls, and I would really like to get the house looking decent again.

I have put these details in so you realize that I am not scamming anyone. Any money I raise will be put to use immediately, and I will share photos of the house as the work gets done.
