Early this morning my beautiful sister in law, Yorleny, was called home to God. Shortly after I first met her, she was diagnosed with a severe heart condition. The doctors performed surgery to close a hole in heart. Unfortunately, the damage had already been done. She would require a heart and double lung transplant. She was not eligible to receive the transplant and entered home hospice care. The doctors gave her weeks to months to live. She stunned them all, and fought for nearly 7 years. She was the kindest and most generous woman I have ever known. I am honored to have gotten to call her family. No one could deny her infectious smile and kind soul. She leaves behind two young boys, and so many friends and family. She had not been able to work since her diagnosis, so there is no money set aside for funeral expenses. We are humbly asking for your assistance with funeral costs and transportation of her body back to El Salvador, in accordance with her wishes.
