Remembering Bristol

Bristol is one of the sweetest most spirited kids you’ll ever meet. She had been experiencing some ear pain and was diagnosed with an ear infection mid-May 2019. Despite the antibiotics, she didn’t seem to be improving and was increasingly complaining about her ear and head hurting. After a couple more trips to the pediatrician and a late-night run to an ER, she was taken to an ENT. He suspected she might have mono, so he ordered bloodwork be drawn to confirm. After the bloodwork came back, the family was instructed to rush Bristol to Children’s Hospital; and that they would be expecting her.

She was diagnosed with leukemia. Their world had been turned upside down in a matter of minutes.

Currently, Bristol has started chemotherapy and working through side effects. But she has always been superhero strong! Mom who is currently expecting their second child, has quit her job to care for Bristol full time. They anticipate being in the hospital for at least the next 3 months, possibly longer. 

At this time, we need your help. There are many bills and expenses that are involved for mom to stay full time with Bristol. Any support is greatly appreciated.
