Help Ollie Get Back On All Four Paws Again

Our lovely 6 month old springer spaniel boy Ollie had a terrible accident last week whilst out playing his favourite game of chasing his ball. We found out after x-rays that he had fractured his right elbow. He had to see a specialist to correct his injury as the surgery was complicated. Unfortunately after looking at his elbow on a CT scan it was discovered that he has a condition called IOHC (incomplete ossification of the humeral condyle) which basically means his joints haven’t formed correctly. This was also found in his left elbow so he has a good chance of fracturing this in the future so he will need an operation for this too. He is currently recovering from the first operation which was completed successfully.His first operation cost just over £5000 and the second operation is estimated to cost between £2000-£3000 plus all the other fees from our local vets bringing the total to around around £8000.
