Mother Of 4 In Danger Of Losing Home

This is a picture of me and my mom. In the house I took my first steps in. The house we still live in today. She has no idea I’m doing this but I didn’t know where else to turn... My mother is my superhero and my biggest fan. She has supported me at every turn in life. From dropping out of college, nearly becoming a police officer, real estate school, to my true path of Photography. 3 out of 4 of us are completely grown adults. But my mom has never stopped being a mom. From sending me food money, to helping pay for my niece’s daycare, helping me get photography gear. My mother would literally give me the shirt off her back. She continues to go above and beyond for her kids. Which is why I’m so distraught to hear the trouble she’s been hiding from us. My mom let me know yesterday that she is in danger of losing our childhood home. The home I took my first steps in. The home that has all 4 of our heights scratched into the door frame. The home that has the world’s best dog buried in the backyard. There’s a debt collection agency that is trying to take my entire childhood from us. They are demanding that she pay $5000 up front on a balance she owes and an additional $8000 for “fees”. And they want the full balance paid off in less than a year. They’re demanding that on top of putting $5000 down, that she pay $750 per month for 12months and pay whatever remains the end of the 12months or they will foreclose on our home. My mother was so busy giving her last to us and being a superhero, that we had no idea this was going on. She it’s a hardworking barely making ends meet woman. We don’t have $13000 to just hand over. We’re all drowning in debt as it is. I just want to help my mom the only way I can. Please help us save our home.
