Sam's No-Babies-Allowed Birthday Getaway

First of all, thank you very much for taking the time to stop by this page and consider donating toward's Sam's first birthday as a mother.

Over the past year, she has spent 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, sleepless nights and long days taking care of our beautiful baby girl, Mikayla. Everything from snot-sucking at 4 in the morning to preparing healthy meals only to have them thrown on the ground, and yet she has managed to stay sane and not lose too much hair!

As a well-deserved reward, I propose we send her on an overnight getaway to Niagara-On-the-Lake's Oban Inn and Spa. Here she will be able to have some of her own time, away from the baby (and the hubby) to drink wine, have massages, read books, and soak in bubble baths. These are some of the luxuries that motherhood does not afford! 

Together, through small (or generous) contributions, we can raise enough money to give Sam the best weekend she'll remember for a long time to come, because as Mika grows up, there will be less opportunities to get away! 

I will start the fund off, and contribute by taking care of the baby and organizing the details. All contributors will have their names put on a card delivered to Sam's room tied to a nice bottle of wine. Leave a comment here and I'll make sure she gets it!
