Help John Start A New Life

John is my partner, he's twenty three, and he's trying to leave an abusive household. Where he currently lives, he's constantly verbally degraded and threatened with forced eviction from the person he lives with. He's attempting to save to get his own home, and start his life on his own, but he's held back by copious demands for money that, if he doesn't meet, will result in being kicked out. He's left with less than a quarter of his check out of each payday, and has hit a point where he's run out of options. The verbal abuse has taken a toll, and left him feeling hopeless in escaping this household. This has gone to the extent that the person has threatened suicide in order to guilt him into continuing to pay outrageous amounts to them, not for rent, but as personal debt they feel he owes them. This is used against him as another tactic to keep him providing money and living with the abuser, who uses this "personal debt" as an excuse to continue the cycle. We've exhausted all types of help that we can in an attempt to remove him from this place, and making this Gofundme has become our last resort. He's left situations of drug use and constant unsafety in the past in order to better his life, and has since been backed into a corner that he can't currently get out of without help.
