Maria's Medical Fund

Maria is a sweet, caring, strong and brave 9 year old. When Maria was 3 1/2 years old Maria was diagnosed with a Benign Pilocytic Astrocytoma Brain Tumor. In 2018 Maria and her mother Cristina where in St. John's to receive the results of Maria's routine MRI where they found out that Maria's tumor had started to grow again, so Maria's doctor's decided that she would need treatments. In August 2018 Maria started chemotherapy, she has it once a week for a whole year and a half. Maria will not be done treatments until Feb/Mar 2020.
