Rick was found the afternoon of April 13th unresponsive at his home in Walla Walla, Washington.   He was taken to the local hospital in a self-induced coma where it was discovered that he had a brain bleed.  He was then flown to Kadlec Hospital in Richland, Washington where he underwent emergency brain surgery.  Rick had been experiencing terrible migraines the three weeks prior.  The day before he was found, he had been at a local urgent care center - his discharge instructions indicate that he had been diagnosed with Acute frontal sinusitis and should continue to take his medication.  He went to bed early on Friday night and was found roughly 18 hours later.

Rick has a long recovery ahead and it will be a while before he is able to return to work. He will need to go to a rehab facility before he goes home and he will incur significant medical expenses. Rick has always been willing to assist friends and family who need assistance - if you have the means, please consider helping Rick now. I know he will appreciate your help.
