Roma genocide 75th Anniversary Ceremony

GATEHerts are the only Gypsy & Traveller led organisation in the U.K. every aug 2nd for last 3 years, we take a group of people to Kraków and Auschwitz in Poland to learn about Roma genocide memorial. At the official commemoration they receive education sessions and learn how discrimination in the 1930s is so like current antiGypsyism and prejudice. We would like to take a significant group for the 75th memorial. It costs £250 per person to get there. We understand many from the community believe in the importance of this event and hope you would like to contribute financially. Before Brexit we would like to show that we are #StrongerTogether We as U.K. partner on this initiative are able to cover through Erasmus+ accomadation, food and education, transport etc in Poland. However flights are not paid. The more we raise the more people can experience this important event.
