Summer Music Insitute In North Carolina (EMF)

For the 2019 year I have been accepted into the Eastern Music Festival in Greensboro, North Carolina. EMF is a 5 week intense music camp for young musicians like me. I will be studying chamber, solo, and orchestral music with some of the best musicians in the world. I am very honored to be accepted however the cost is always the hardest part about this camp. For those of you who follow my social media and have seen my growth as a musician, I am dedicated to taking my playing to the next level. About the Musician:

Alicia Mora is currently a student at Kansas Wesleyan University working on her Bachelor degree in Music Performance. She studies violin with Laura Black from Wichita, ks and Douglas Beyer Jr. Salina, ks. Alicia serves as the current Concert Master of the KWU Chamber Orchestra. Alicia made her solo debut with the Salina Symphony in 2016. Since then she has appeared as a soloist with the KWU orchestra. Alicia is a member of the KWU Honors Quartet with whom she won 1st Prize in the KASTA Chamber/Solo Competition at the 2016 KMEA Convention. Alicia recently won the 2019 International Music Festival Concerto/Aria Competition hosted by Kansas Wesleyan University. Ms. Mora continues to further her solo career in future competition and continuing her education in graduate school after she finishes undergrad.
