1982 Cougar Robotics Team

We are the Cougar Robotics Team 1982!  We have had both an exciting and challenging 2018-2019 year.  The team has worked hard to create a great robot, whom we have proudly named Vladimir.  This year we were invited to attend and compete in the 2019 World Championship.  If you are new to Robotic Competitions, this is the equivalent to the World Series of Baseball.  While this is VERY EXCITING for our team, poor Vladimir has taken a beating and needs repairs.  Although we have boundless enthusiasm and incredible student and mentor talent, we have limited resources to make our repairs and start off next years competitions with a BANG!

Cougar Robotics was established in 2007 and is a student-driven team with one mission: to promote science, technology, engineering and mathematics in the community.  Our robotics team enables high school students to participate in a higher level of technical problem solving as well as develop skills in engineering, project management, finance, leadership, teamwork, communication, and mathematics, just to name a few.

In our community, we give back by mentoring a local elementary school’s Lego robotics teams and hold robotics day camps.  With your help, we can improve upon Vladimir, our team and teams of the future.  Thank you for your support and stay tuned for updates.

Sincerely,

Vladimir and the Cougar Robotic Team 1982
