1971's "Jackie Van" needs a gasket

We are 1971, a rock band from Kenora, ON and Winnipeg, MB, in the early stages of our most recent tour of Eastern Canada.

Today, on our way to Sault Ste. Marie to play another show with our friends The Franquilizers we stopped in Terrace Bay to grab a coffee and change drivers. We noticed some leakage and sure enough we blew a gasket in our van. 
Luckily there was an off duty mechanic we ran into who helped us figure this out.

We won't know the total cost until it's finished being fixed, but the estimate was easily over $2,000. So we're asking for $3,000 here to be safe.
We will update immediatley once we know the actual cost. We are ONLY asking for enough money to get back on the road and finish this tour and get home safely. 

We've been working very hard at this band for over 5 years  now, played many shows around this country and have made a lot of personal sacrifices to make this work this year and eventually succeed at this.

Before leaving for this trip we put in over $2,400 to get Jackie Van road ready which included putting in a brand new water pump, thermostat, a few new brake pads, a few new ball joints, axle bearings, a tire, rebalanced tire, and stabilizer bar bushing.  

Asking for money from others has never been a thing we've done or considered before and is not something we feel completely comfortable doing; we've always funded our projects, tours and any expenses that come with being in a band by ourselves with lots of hard work,  but this time we really really need your help!

Please get us out of Terrace Bay! It's too small, we already know everybody, and can't afford the bar!
