13 Hands Equine Rescue

We are desperate to fill our hay loft for the horses to eat this winter. The hay loft is nearly empty.

We are 13 Hands Equine Rescue, a not for profit organization specializing in the rescue and rehabilitation of unwanted, abused and slaughter bound horses, and offer our Equine Assisted Psychotherapy program. Through our work we also educate the public regarding equine abuse. We opened our doors in December 2015.
The slaughter of horses is a highly profitable business and too many of the horses are ill treated, underfed and abused. Most of our horses are rescued from kill pens and auction houses where we are their last chance of survival. After they are rescued, all of our horses go through a 30-day quarantine period where they receive veterinary care and special treatment to ensure a safe recovery so they can rest and regain their health and strength.

To feed the 20 horses we rescued we need to fill up our hay loft. The horses need your help!

This is Spirit who we rescued in June. She's doing really well now. But it takes a lot of feed, hay, care and money.
WE NEED YOUR HELP TO RAISE THE MONEY TO PURCHASE THE TRUCK LOAD OF HAY.
