11yr old raising money for homeless

Hi, my name is Tom. I am 11 yrs old. I want to raise money for 'Street Swags' again. You might remember in 2016, I raised over $2000 and bought 23 swags for people living on the streets. The swags provide warmth and protection from the weather. They are made of a strong canvas and have a thin mattress and polar fleece blanket inside. It folds up into a backpack!

The other day, I met a homeless person at our local shopping centre, he had nowhere to go. I gave him some money but I was really sad that I couldn't help him more. So I've decided to do another campaign to hopefully, with your help, raise $3000. This money will go directly to Street Swags and they will distribute the swags for me. It will make the lives of those who sleep rough regularly a little bit better.

To show I'm serious, I will sleep rough too. I plan to sleep outside in our carport twice, (only two of the walls are enclosed) and in the car twice. I'll keep you updated with any other things I do.

Unfortunately, because I'm a kid, there's only so much I can do but I do really want to help these people. So please donate and help me help keep homeless people warm and dry this winter.
