I would like to inform you that we will start to prepare for the 11th Neutering Campaign scheduled to take place end of April 2016.
We need help to make the next clinic happen to spay, neuter and treat dogs and cats! This is already the 11th Neutering and Treatment Campaign being organised on the island of Sal, Cabo Verde. Your donation will help save lives of these sweet, innocent animals. No amount is too small. More than 3.800 animals have already been spayed/neutered and won´t reproduce in the future. This means less homeless, unwanted animals, less starving, diseases... less helpless, tiny puppies and kittens wandering around the streets alone.
This time with different veterinarians, but as always this campaign will be carried out with with great professionals with big hearts. If you would like to give us a hand by making a donation, every little bit helps us to help the lovely, helpless animals on Sal, Cabo Verde. Thank you all for the support. The 10th campaign was very, very difficult for us all, especially myself. But we made it happen and followed it through although it was next to impossible. Save Cats and Dogs of Cape Verde, together with the great Tieraerztepool and Bons Amigos from Santiago island did 278 castrations and 34 special surgeries, including eye and tumour removal operations. We neutered 88 female dogs and 108 males. 42 female cats and 38 males. And that my friends, is something amazing. The team was amazing. Thank you all who were a part of it. Thank you all for supporting in any way what so ever. Behind the numbers are the hundreds of faces of animals and people helped. I see them in my mind every time when I'm very tired and things are hard. Sal is never the same after this campaign and that is a very good thing.
