100 Miles for Ben

My name is Kris,
I recently lost my beloved boyfriend Ben Klofta at the young age of 26 to an unexpected drug-related tragedy. Ben was such a hardworking, loving, caring, sweet and adored young man, I loved him greatly as he loved me.
Since he passed I have been doing whatever I can to keep his memory alive and strong, certain words kept repeating in my head, those words are "I need to be part of something bigger than myself." That was when I decided that I was going to start running to raise money in his name towards the epidemic that has now touched my life and is touching the lives of more and more people each day.
I will be running 100 miles between now and September 18th, 2017 which is the one year anniversary of his death. The 100 miles will be within different events, 5k, 10k etc. All of which I will already be donating to wonderful organizations just by participating.
My organization I will be donating to is City of Angels, they provide grants to help those in need as well as assistance for families whose lives have been touched by this heartbreaking epidemic.
I would love to be able to raise at least $2500 to help City of Angels and hope to save lives of others and help stop this epidemic in Ben's name.
