What is the 1000 Goddesses Gathering?

A Tibetan prophecy says that when 1000 Goddesses or Taras gather, the divine feminine will rebirth through their combined energies, and the tone of the planet will shift from one of fear to compassion.

The 1000 Goddesses Gathering is a Ceremonial Wisdom and Compassion Gathering convening women (all women are goddesses) with men as Sacred Guardians, along with children on the Washington Mall. The event is a day-long ceremony invoking more than 1000 Goddesses as the Divine Feminine in all her myriad manifestations from cultures throughout the world. These sacred energies are then grounded deeply into the center of our Sacred Planet to bring healing energies and balance back to our beleaguered world.

The Gathering is also focused on bringing healing energies in to support our return to Sacred Balance here on our beloved Earth.

Corollary to the 2016 Gathering in Washington DC, numerous other sister events spiritually linked in from around the world. Sisters and brothers from Mexico, France, India, Canada and more locales throughout the United States gathered to invoke the “Goddess” and bring the healing energies in globally.

At the DC Gathering in 2016, there were creative spaces to encourage attendees to express their emotions along with healers to support where needed. Other stations will include: “Envisioning Our Positive Future”, “Joy & Gratitude”, and “Personal Pledges for Positive Change” following the powerful event.

And...there were Chocolate Stations since Goddesses need their chocolate!

The whole event is held in Sacred Space to facilitate the ceremony and healing spaces. It is an auspicious Gathering to help Mid-Wife the beautiful New World birthing at this time in the midst of the chaos we are now experiencing.

Plans for 2018

Save the Date!  The Gathering will be on October 20th, 2018.

In 2018, our intentions are to create a nine-foot metal (it was cardboard in 2016) Goddess statue to be the focal point at the center of the Gathering with altars around the periphery anchoring the directions and sub-directions.

We are also going to incorporate more family-friendly activities during the Gathering to have it be fun and engaging for younger ones during the day.


Why the 1000GG?

We are living in precarious times after several thousand years of patriarchal ways that have repressed the wisdom and compassion of the Divine Feminine.

For decades ecosystems have been desecrated all over the globe. Extreme rates of Extinction. Wars, terrorism, and fear are rampant.

Since the 2016 Goddesses Gathering, the shadow/wounded masculine has surfaced even more extremely to be healed.

It is time for balance, healing, and the return of the Divine Feminine to be in Sacred Partnership with the Divine Masculine in ways that have not been witnessed on the planet for thousands of years.

The Spiritual Call from Earth Mother/Gaia

Gaia Mystic and award-winning author, Mare Cromwell, initially received the Spiritual Call from Earth Mother to organize the 1000 Goddesses Gathering in late fall, 2015. The original plan was for a large event to be held at a rural retreat center in Maryland in 2017. However Mother Gaia woke Mare up at 5am in late July, 2016, and informed her that the first Gathering needed to happen in Washington DC before the November elections.

Mare has spiritually surrendered to Mother Gaia. She has studied with Native American elders for 22 years and several gifted elders have confirmed her very close relationship with Gaia. One elder told her in the spring of 2016 that her work with Mother Gaia is in the prophecies. Since a powerful ceremony with an Algonquin medicine man in early June 2012 where Earth Mother’s energy merged into Mare’s energy body, Mare has healed from lymphoma and written Messages from Mother…. Earth Mother and  along with The Great Mother Bible . Mare leads talks and workshops helping people understand Mother Gaia's actual existence and learn wisdom ways and how to be more spiritually connected with her.
 
Mare also works with the Virgin Mary, Kuan Yin, and the Great Divine Mother (referring to them as the “Mother Team”) in her spiritual work and healing practice. She is committed to birthing the New World coming in at this time, for the highest good of all, including all life on earth per Earth Mother’s guidance.

All funds will be directed toward the costs of the event, with any amounts over and above our goal going to the development and growth of this movement.
