A mighty Oak has fallen! On September 22 the world lost a truly great woman and Heaven had a standing ovation, where Elaine T. Blyden arrived to the words, "Well done my true and faithful servant."
Elaine's legacy on earth lives in the hearts and lives of the thousands of people she mentored in their youth. Elaine worked with Buffalo youth from the late 60's until her retirement from the "The Bob" in 2014. Many credit her with literally saving their lives.
Her family wishes to continue touching the lives of Buffalo's children through a new initiative which will be birthed in these weeks following her passing. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking everyone that "Ms Blyden" touched pay it forward by making a donation, big or small, in her honor.
Your gift will ensure Elaine's legacy is not just in her past works, but will continue to touch the lives of children for many decades to come.
