Lunch For 200 Homeless Men
Donazione protetta
Hi everyone!
My name is Mohammad Mahmoudi, your local Maryland guy and attorney. I wanted to help my community so my fiance and I signed up to make lunch for some homeless residents in Montgomery County. We went to Costco and purchased enough ingredients to make 200 lunches which consisted of 2 sandwiches, carrots, fruit, water, and a Hershey Kiss.
Me, Molly (fiance) and a few friends got together on a Sunday and made lunch. It cost us around $650.00. But on December 19, 2016, we fed 200 homeless men and it felt great.
We would like to make them lunch again but we aren't able to spend that kind of money each month. We need your help.
My sister started a tradition of giving her savings to orphanages when she travelled. She died on January 12, 2009 and ever since her death we have adopted that tradition of giving.
205 bag lunches in our livingroom.
We are planning on providing lunch for 200 homeless men again on January 12 in honor of my sister.
Please give what you can. It means a lot to me to be able to make these sandwhiches, and stuff bags with food for people who have so little. It means more to them to have a meal and full belly for one day.
