Dani's Walkathon for Nelson Friends of the Family

Are you looking to make a difference? I would love for you to consider sponsoring my walkathon for Nelson Friends of the Family and support children and families all across Nelson, BC. Nelson Friends of the Family is a non profit organization in Nelson, BC that helps give funds to families who need to travel outside of Nelson for their child's medical needs to help cover the costs of their travel expenses. Friends of the Family has helped families all over Nelson, including mine, and I can't thank them enough for all they've done for me and so many others. Three years ago I had to travel to Kelowna, Vancouver, and Edmonton when I was diagnosed with a rare form of Macular Degeneration. I've decided to do what I can to give back to this great organization through my walkathon charity. For the month of May, I will be walking around my town with my CNIB buddy dog, George, with a goal of walking 100 kilometers in 31 days.
