VNS Therapy for Seizures

Donation protected
Update: VNS was put in 9/24. She pushed to go back to work 9/27. On 10/3 the phone systems at work all went off ringing and she had more seizures and went with the EMT. The hospital then transferred her to her dr’s hospital. He had us come in a week early (10/4) to turn on the VNS. She had a seizure in his office and the magnet stopped it. We are both out of sick time. I updated our need based on that. Thanks to all for the help.
Original post: My wife, Ashley, has uncontrolled epilepsy. She cannot have brain surgery because the seizures are coming from both sides of her termporal lobes. This affects her memory and emotions. Although  she spent two month in ICU, two days on life support, because we thought we were going to lose her. Thank God, she came back to us and they were able to clear her lungs after she  aspirated.  She went from 4/18 to 8/18 with no seizures except the ones provoked by loud noises. To top it off, my wife is a good hearted and generous woman. She teaches elementary school and put her foot down about leaving her profession for healthy reasons. VNS is what could be the solution.
