Teach online marketing to Nigerian women
Dear reader,
I'm Nick, and I would like to ask for a donation to provide a group of 20 women in Nigeria to teach online marketing and the soft skills needed to craft a portfolio and create income through entrepreneurship or a paid job.
The more diversity, the better. I stand for quality education and SDG 4.4
This career journey started in 2017 when I started next to a AZC (asylum-seeking center) next to a former prison in the Netherlands. See a movie here with English CC. You can see me at 6:25.
More about the startup here that I wrote.
After this success, we got funds from the Oranjefonds Oranjefonds (Dutch royal couple) and local municipalities (Leiden, Alphen a/d Rijn, Rijswijk, Delft) and did a successful project with Make IT Here. After my co-founder got sick (who was supposed to write the subsequent project funding request), I tried to sustain, but then covid lockdown came, and I had to give up on this non-profit, unfortunately.
I inserted the curriculum with Techgrounds and taught 200+ people last year for the foundation, and Meta has funded me from their SROI goals.
Look for my reviews about what students say about me here.
With the lessons learned, I will create a self-sustainable community that will get self-funded from the woman's money.
I want to discover the methods I teach and the impact I make with them. Follow me on LinkedIn.
This is how I'm going to assign the funds:
Teacher & learning coach 8 hours per week times eight weeks € 3200
Support and assistance from the NEWIT organization in Nigeria 8 hours per week times eight weeks € 3200
For only € 6400, we promise to deliver a fine group of people who will make a difference and perform as leaders and role models.
Nobody can predict the future, but we will create a bright future.
Help and follow us on our journey!
