Soar N Skies Adventure Park® Fundraising Campaign

Hi my name is Tasha, I am the founder of Soar N Skies Adventure Park®. I'm a local mother of one who also works a full-time job. I am also a business owner and entrepreneur who lives right here in Sterling, IL. I have an amazing family who also grew up and currently reside in Sterling. Sterling is certainly a great place to live and call home, especially for families! We have a great safe community with hard-working residents who truly care about our small town. The only downfall to living in a small town is... there's nothing to do, especially for our youth! We have limited franchises, stores, or recreational facilities.  We pretty much have a movie theater, bowling alley, and half a mall since big box stores such as J.C. Penney, Bergners, and K-Mart have all closed . As a single mom, I am always seeking new, fun and exciting things to do for my very active and energetic 6 year old daughter. About 2 years ago, I took my daughter and a group of friends both parents and kids to a Trampoline Park. This particular Trampoline park was in Chrystal Lake, IL so we drove nearly two hours to get there. Honestly though, it was one of the most fun things I've done in a very long time, and I'm in my 30's!! This park had everything from trampolines to obstacle courses, rock climbing, a huge multilevel playground area, trampoline style slam dunk basketball and dodge ball areas, zip lines, and much more! I'll be honest, I was in there climbing and jumping around with my daughter and her friends and felt like a kid again ! About 5 hours later, we all left laughing and talking about how much fun it was! I knew at that moment I HAD to bring this to our area! I would absolutely love to bring that same fun and excitement to our local town. We need to bring growth and development to our community. This is the main reason I founded and established Soar N Skies Adventure Park ®. I see so many families, teens, adults, even grandparents posting pictures with there kids and loved ones at Trampoline Parks, big smiles and all.  No large franchises want to open parks in small towns, they like large cities so they can bring in as much money as they can. I'd like to change this way of thinking because small towns matter too! I'd like to take a different approach and personalize the experience offering affordable, safe fun for everyone! You'll get all the perks of a big city trampoline for a fraction of the cost, saving on drive time and gas money alone! The investment for the average trampoline park is upwards of two million dollars believe it or not! We are seeking this out by applying for state and federal grants as well as raising money through events and fundraising. We are utilizing community reach fundraising for 8% of the total investment. You will also see social media posts through our website soarnskies.com, our local Chamber of Commerce for events, drawings, and rewards for those who donate or sponsor. All money raised will go towards every aspect of the park including: °Marketing and development °Securing the site and insurances °Construction and equipment Please help us make this dream come true for our community! I know we are all tired of driving by all these empty buildings where large corporation brick and mortar stores have closed, while we have nothing to do for our local youth in the area. We will have a rewards and giveaway program for our contributors who donate.
