Semi-feral Rosie hit by car - leg amputation
*Cat hit by car* - CDPA have paid €600 for Rosie's back leg to be amputated, vet consultations and medication.
Rosie is a semi feral girl and has been recovering with one of our volunteers over Christmas after her leg amputation surgery. She was hit by a car and was trying her best to function for 2 weeks with the broken leg until CDPA managed to trap her. What a champ! She is part of a colony of 8 cats that CDPA helped TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) in November in Cullmulin, Co Meath. She's warm, has been getting hand fed some tasty treats and getting plenty of rest. Fingers crossed she'll socialise, realise that humans aren't all bad and find a 5 star home in the new year
We are desperately asking for donations to not only help cover the costs of neutering and parasite treatment of these cats but also Rosie's much needed surgery and aftercare.
