We are Short Heath Fields Trust a constituted community group, the friends of Bleakhill Park and Short Heath Playing Fields. Short Heath Fields Trust is trying to improve these green spaces both Short Heath Playing Fields and Bleakhill Park with the aim to bring sport for all to the playing fields and turn Bleakhill Park into a nature reserve with a Covid Memorial Woodland. We have a small army of volunteers who have already helped us clean up the playing fields & park. But we have a football team waiting to get started so we need to cut the grass, get equipment and much more but we need money to do it.
