Henry's Helpers

Henry Michael was born on May 5th at 12:08pm. He made a grand entrance at 36 weeks gestation. After a healthy and happy pregnancy- his birthday, although a bit early, was excitedly anticipated. Henry was not breathing and was lifeless, he looked as if he was stillborn. He was resuscitated, transferred to the NICU at St. Vincent's in Green Bay,  was put on a ventilator and later transferred to the NICU at Milwaukee Children's Hospital. After over 2 months of waiting, he has been diagnosed with myotubular myopathy or MTM. This is a rare genetic condition with a poor prognosis and short life expectancy. By the grace of God there is hope for Henry. He has been accepted into a clinical trial in Toronto Canada, where he will receive gene replacement therapy. Henry is in need of your prayers.  His loving parents have been staying with Henry every minute they can. The cost of medical expenses, and time off of work will add up and are truly unexpected. Going to Canada for the gene therapy will be anoyher unexpected expense and will require a significant amount of time off of work for Mike and Rmily. If you can help in any way to allow for Henry's parents to focus on him and the care he needs it would be appreciated. Most importantly, please say a prayer for this little boy, his daddy, and his mommy.
