The global spread of COVID-19 is affecting the life of every one of us. COVID-19 has taken lives of more than 256,000 people around the world. Over 3.6 million cases have been confirmed across 184 countries or regions according to John Hopkins. The number of confirmed cases in US have surged to almost 1,200,000. The COVID-19 can infect anyone, but older adults and people with weak immune system are more likely to get seriously sick from it.
With the rapidly evolving situation here in US, we have decided to shift our fundraising goal from helping the previous epicenter of COVID-19, Wuhan, to focusing on local community. All the money raised going forward will be dedicated to assist local medical workers, seniors, and kids affected by the pandemic.
