Dog killed while in home by 2 Pitt bulls!

On September 25, 2022 around 2:30-3pm my 4 pound Yorkie was killed by 2 pitbull dogs (whom I do not know) My three dogs and myself were sitting in the living room resting and looking for doggie Halloween costumes when 2 large pit bulls burst through my locked screen door and killed my Munchkin in front of me and terrified my other dogs to run and hide for there lives.

I screamed and screamed and screamed until I pounced on the dogs back and pried her mouth open to let go of my dog. Once I did that and hit the dog she dropped her on my couch and ran out the same door. I grabbed a towel and ran out my front door screaming with my dog bleeding out massive amounts of blood. I was in such a panic I didn’t close my front door, didn’t bring a wallet and drove to the emergency vet 22 minutes away in 7 minutes according to the vet who I was on the phone with.

Unfortunately, she took her last 2 breaths in my arms while I was applying pressure to her multiple bite wounds as soon as I got off the freeway exit. I ran into the ER vet yelled for help and they were quick to take her to see if anything could be done. Five minutes later they told me she passed and my body went into shock I was physically paralyzed and EMS was called and I was taken into the hospital as Munchkin was my certified therapy and emotional support animal who helped me through the hardest time of my life and saved my life. I never thought I would be starting a GFM, but I have no other options as I don’t feel comfortable going home and reliving the experience again and again. I am asking for money to have her cremated, a necklace with her ashes to keep her with me always, to buy new furniture as the amount of blood went from the top or the couch to the bottom and a professional tried to clean it without success, and money for funds to either have a company come to clean the home where the incident happened. Lastly, I am asking for funds to buy and install a security door for my safety, my other 2 pets safety and mental well-being. Any funds not used will be donated to the ER vet that were incredibly helpful to me in my time of need and my baby Munchkins.

if you cannot donate please light a candle for my baby that she is running in heaven and eating all the chicken she can with my other baby London who passed after 17 years of cancer in 2020.

Hold your babies tight everyday, give them that extra treat, that extra walk, let them give you that extra smelly kiss and fart because it can be there last any minute.
