Carolines Employee Relief Fund

Hi everyone! Kendall the hostess here. So as you all probably already know, the ever-spreading COVID-19/coronavirus has caused all of Broadway to shut down, and sadly as of Sunday, March 15th, that includes the infamous Caroline's Comedy Club.  On Wednesday, March 18th, Caroline's made the very difficult decision to lay off all of the staff, and close indefinitely, or at least until this crisis passes. We understand that this had to happen in order to save the business, but we, the staff, are now left without our main source of income, and are scrambling to apply for unemployment on an overcrowded ny.gov website. We are asking for any kind of donation in order to help lighten this burden, so that we can keep paying for rent and groceries. ANY donation will be appreciated--$5, $10, whatever you can spare in these crazy times.  Buttttt of course for higher donations there will be special prizes--aspiring comedians take note--the secret prizes are for youuu!!! There are many Caroline's employees that you'll be helping out(we haven't gotten a full count yet but are working on it) and that includes wait staff, kitchen staff, door staff, hosts, barkers, ticket sales, and even our beloved coat check lady Lucille. We all want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts if you can spare anything. 100k sounds like a whole lot, because it is, but hey we didn't wanna put limits on anything just in case some billionaire wants to donate(looking at you former Mayor Bloomberg). If we have ever made you laugh or smile in Times Square, please consider sharing this with others, or preferably, with everyone you know.
