Hi,
my name is Margaret. I am here on behalf of many survivors to seek your financial support. Gregory Dow and his family traveled from the US to a small village in Kenya, Africa. For nearly a decade, they operated an orphanage under the guise of Christian-charity work. Gregory Dow raped girls, without fear of impregnating them because his wife took the girls to local clinics to get birth control implants. One of his victims was 11 years old when he started raping her.
Mr Dow was arrested by the FBI after fleeing Kenya to his home in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, he pleaded guilty to all charges and is currently at a NJ federal prison. Mr Dow has not paid the restitution imposed during the sentencing because he did not have any assets. Many victims continue to anguish in poverty, some have faced stigma within the community. We are appealing for your financial support as we plan to travel back with a team to help locate and assist those affected
The money raised through this campaign will be used to locate victims, counseling and mental health services, education, set up small businesses for their sustainability , medical services, our traveling costs, expenses, miscellaneous needs, community sensitization
, set up a nonprofit organization…et al. Some of our Long term projects are: to build a school, initiate feeding centers, help the community heal from the trauma. We know that the journey to recovery is a long and difficult one, and we want to do everything we can to support these survivors as they move forward.
