The Story:
On Feb 17th in the morning, Sarah Erwin noticed some strange bumps and rashing on her body. We went to urgent care to get it looked at, and it was considered nothing to worry about. She was prescribed meds and sent on her way.
Feb 18th, she woke up in extreme pain and burning all over her body. She was unable to walk and was sent directly to the ER at Little Company of Mary Hospital, in Torrance, CA. She has been diagnosed with a delayed allergic reaction to the antibiotics that she took to help with a recent UTI, and it had taken over her body.
She has been admitted into the hospital and is being watched closely as the doctors and nurses do their best to identify and resolve the illness and reaction. We are still not sure exactly what is wrong.
The Ask:
Sarah does not have health insurance. She decided to take the risk and not have insurance between jobs. A risk that is now going to be a big problem. Many people take this risk every day.
I am seeking our friends, family, friends of friends, and people who are willing and able to give to help pay for her medical bills. Sarah has the fullest heart and an amazing group of people around her.
It is estimated that a hospital stays for 5 days can exceed $12000, so that is our goal. While she is admitted, she can not make money from her day job, which makes the whole thing even worse.
Please donate and help her cause. She is so loving and giving and never asks for anything. I am asking for her. She would never ask on her own.

EDIT (2/19/19 - 10:30PM): WOW thank you all for your overwhelming support. We originally thought it was an allergic reaction, but now we think it may be something else. We are not sure exactly but are optimistic that Sarah will be able to leave the hospital soon.
