Sharon’s Memorial Expenses

Sharon has worked for the Pima County Sheriff’s Department for 9 1/2 years. Her role as a Public Safety Support Specialist for Special Operations is imperative in helping other staff members and Deputies carry out their own duties.  

On Friday, August 10 Sharon went to the ER because she had not been feeling well for a period of time. That same day Sharon received some unexpected and potentially devastating news - it was much more than just being sick.   Cat scans and MRI’s revealed that Sharon has tumors in her brain, lung, adrenal glands/kidney and lymph nodes.  

Per Doctor’s orders Sharon cannot work at this time.  All things considered, Sharon is remaining positive and intends to give this her best fight.  Considering Sharon’s supportive role and helpful nature, it seemed only fitting to me that we try to now support her in her journey ahead.  With Sharon’s blessing, I have started this funding campaign in hopes of trying to allievate one less worry for Sharon.  To fight this fight, the last thing Sharon needs to be concerned about is finances.  Your help, big or small, can make a difference.
