Be More Kind Day 2022

It's that time of the year again........ Be More Kind Day 2022!!!!!!!!

And we need your help with buying 500 Be More Kind Day t-shirts for Community members down at Boyle Street Community Services.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT BE MORE KIND DAY:

In 2018 Frank Turner released his album "Be More Kind" followed by a North American tour; Seattle declared "Be More Kind Day" the day he played there. I reached out to the city to try and do the same, and they got back to me and loved the idea. I reached out to Frank Turner to see if he would like to come down to Boyle Street and play a few songs, and he was down for it. That day I supplied and served lunch at Boyle Street, then met Frank at the Winspear and brought him over to Boyle Street where he played for around 40 minutes and gave away tickets to community members.

In 2019, Boyle street and I put on an outside BBQ for roughly 1,000 people. 2020, I supplied food, and we handed food to community members outside. 2021, Re/Max took over most of the food portion of the event, and I bought 500 be more kind t-shirts for community members and handed them out with the help of friends Janis Irwin and David Shepard.
